Tadmarton Heath Golf Club is a traditional members' club, but one that seeks to promote a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. In recent years we have relaxed our dress code, and regulations for using mobile phones and digital devices. To avoid any embarrassment we entrust and rely on our members, guests and visitors to ensure that they comply with the detail and spirit of the dress code and mobile phone regulations set out below.
Tadmarton asks all players to observe standards of dress consistent with the traditions and conventions of the game of golf, whilst taking account of current golf fashion.
For the avoidance of doubt, this means appropriate, tailored clothing as would be purchased in our golf retail shop and excludes any denim, tracksuits, training shoes or combat trousers and shorts. For men, golf shirts must be tucked into trousers and shorts at all times. Sports and trainer socks should be of predominantly one colour. Trousers must not be tucked into socks unless wearing plus twos or plus fours.
Changing clothes and shoes is not permitted anywhere other than in the locker rooms unless in the lower car park when using the practice range.
Smart, casual attire (including jeans) and footwear are more than acceptable, unless otherwise stipulated by the event organiser on special occasions.
Golf shirts should be tucked into shorts/trousers unless specifically designed to be worn on the outside.
Clean golf wear (as defined above) is appropriate at any time but no waterproofs or outdoor wear please. Clean golf shoes are permitted in the small bar and hallway area only, but during winter months we may withdraw this rule.
T-shirts; vests; sweaters with slogans or hoods that could be considered to be offensive
Hats and caps (unless due to health reasons)
Cargo trousers and shorts, tracksuits and beachwear
Jeans, which are ripped, torn or marked
Non-golf sportswear including football and rugby shirts
Socks are required, unless wearing deck shoes, sandals or flip-flops - no bare and stockinged feet.
Please keep mobile phones and digital devices on silent and, except in the case of genuine emergency, do not use a phone in the clubhouse, locker rooms or on the course. Calls are permitted in the car park, offices and pro shop.
Other uses - texting, emailing, internet, diary, taking photographs etc - are permitted. Members, guests and visitors are requested to be considerate of others when using their phones and digital devices. Members and guests may use computers to work from but only in the dining room if free, no cameras or speakers must be used. Conference calls are not permitted at any time.
Smoking, including e-cigarettes, is not permitted in the clubhouse, locker rooms, terrace, offices and pro shop.
Members are expected to show respect to staff, visitors and each other.
Please be aware of players on the 7th green while seated on the terrace
Please refrain from using bad or offensive language at all times.
