Ladies Bache Hay Open
The Bache Hay Trophy, an 18-hole medal open to lady members and non-members, is one of Tadmarton’s oldest pieces of silverware. The trophy was presented by Judith Bache Hay at the inaugural meeting of the ladies section in 1922. Mrs Bache Hay, and her husband, Major Sir Bache McEvers Athole Hay, were founder members of the club and he played a significant role in raising the finances to buy and develop the land on which the club was built.
