Men's Open - Banbury Town Cup 2025 Rules

Banbury Town Cup (Board Competition) Format: Individual Open stroke play (qualifying) over 18 holes from black tees with 95% handicap allowancce. Divisions: Single division.
Six nett prizes, Three scratch, plus best gross and nett visitor, no player to take more than one prize. Starting: Drawn in groups of three from the 1st tee only. Eligibility: Open competition, entry limit of handicap index 16.5 = course handicap 18.
Cancellation policy - No refunds for cancellations a week before the closing date.
Higher handicaps may enter but play off the limit, if oversubscribed the ballot will be on lower handicaps NOTE: there is no longer a residency criteria for this competition.
Players with fewer than 6 acceptable scores in their handicap record in the previous 12 months may enter, but are ineligible for prizes. Eligibility: Open gross competition for amateurs.
